Bamboo Pharmacy ® products are dietary supplements made entirely from premium quality herbs. Our products are based on time-tested traditional herbal formulas that are still in use today.
Bamboo Pharmacy® products are manufactured in internationally GMP-certified factories in China. Extensive laboratory testing throughout the process confirms quality standards are met, and results are routinely verified by third-party laboratory testing conducted in the US. The quality, processing and testing standards of our products are based on the legal requirements outlined in the Herbal Pharmacopoeia of the People’s Republic of China.
Our premium quality herbs are washed and processed, then water extracted and concentrated into a paste. The paste is then blended with powdered herbs from the original formula to create an herbal dough. The dough is then cut into balls and is spun into our pills with a fine layer of edible wax for easier swallowing and to help naturally preserve freshness.

Please read the dosage information for each formula on the package. For best results, take our formulas half an hour before or one hour after eating. Most of our formulas come as small pills or tablets that are easy to swallow with a glass of water. Some people prefer to take our formulas with hot water to facilitate their digestion.
Dosage amounts can vary according to the weight of the individual and whether the formula is being taken for support during an acute or chronic condition. However, modifying a dosage should be done under the guidance of a trained Chinese medicine practitioner such as an acupuncturist or herbalist.
Most of our products can be taken safely by children. It is strongly recommended that a trained Chinese medicine practitioner such as an acupuncturist or herbalist be consulted for appropriateness and applicable dosage before giving one of our products to a child.
Please check the product label for warnings. As with any Chinese herbal formula, it is best to consult a trained acupuncturist/herbalist before using while pregnant or nursing.
